About Our Location
Our workshop sits in a converted mill building in Bridgwater, Somerset. The space retains its original exposed beams and large windows that flood the workspace with natural light—essential for quality inspection and finishing work.
We chose Somerset deliberately. The region has a long history of traditional crafts, giving us access to skilled workers and apprenticeship programs. The surrounding countryside provides the slower pace we need for work that can't be rushed.
Visitors are welcome during workshop hours. You'll see craftspeople cutting, sanding, and assembling toys, smell the distinctive scent of freshly worked wood and natural oils, and understand why we refuse to compromise on quality. It's a working production space, not a showroom, which means you'll see the real process behind each toy.
Finding Us
By Car
From the M5, take Junction 23 toward Bridgwater. Follow signs for the town center, then head east on Salmon Parade. Turn left onto Artisan Lane—we're in the red brick building at number 12. Free parking available on-site for visitors.
By Train
Bridgwater station sits on the Bristol to Exeter line with regular services from both directions. From the station, it's a 15-minute walk through town center, or local taxis are readily available. The walk is flat and straightforward.
By Bus
The number 14 bus runs from Taunton and stops at Salmon Parade, just a three-minute walk from our workshop. Services run roughly hourly throughout the day. Check local timetables for current schedules.
Workshop Visits
While drop-in visits are welcome during open hours, we recommend emailing ahead if you'd like a guided tour. This ensures a team member is available to show you around and answer questions about our process.
Typical tours last 20-30 minutes and cover our sourcing practices, construction techniques, finishing process, and quality control methods. You're welcome to ask questions throughout.
For school groups, educational visits, or larger parties, please contact us at least two weeks in advance to arrange a suitable time.

Email us describing the damage, and we'll provide a prepaid return label within 24 hours. Pack the toy securely and drop it at any post office. We'll assess, repair, and return it within 2-3 weeks. The entire process is covered under our lifetime guarantee at no cost to you.
We don't offer engraving or personalization services, as we've found these often compromise the open-ended nature of the toys and reduce their pass-along value. We focus on timeless designs that work for any child across multiple years of development.
Most orders ship within 3-5 business days. UK delivery typically takes 2-3 days after dispatch. European orders take 5-8 days. We'll send tracking information once your order ships. During peak periods like December, lead times may extend slightly.
